Barrell Seagrass
Rye — (bottled in) Kentucky, Multiple Countries
Reviewed April 14, 2022 (edited May 10, 2022)Very complex and interesting the whole way through the taste, but the high spruce just isn’t my preference. -
Woodford Reserve Double Oaked
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 31, 2021 (edited January 12, 2022)Heavy sweet nose with all the right notes and a quality finish. This one should be in every bourbon lover’s liquor cabinet. -
Elijah Craig 18 Year Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 31, 2021 (edited April 6, 2022)A really nice bourbon, complex enough to go back to. Great caramel and vanilla notes and there’s a lot in the finish. -
Noble Oak Double Oak Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 31, 2021 (edited January 18, 2022)Not much on the nose and missing the notes that you look for up front, but it has a nice long finish that lingers long enough to make you forget the brand’s meager reputation. -
Angel's Envy Rye Finished in Caribbean Rum Casks
Rye — USA
Reviewed November 28, 2021 (edited December 29, 2021)Disarmingly strong sweet flavor upfront cut by just enough spice to keep it from being heavy or liquor-like. Finishes with a strong maple flavor and lingers. An easy drink to nurse all evening.
