Lots going on past the smoky and briny impact. Very complex when given time in the glass. Almost full-bodied, medium-long finish.

Briny, peaty, woody and quite smooth for its high proof. Medium body and finish. Not great, but enjoyable neat.

I really like this one. Peat, smoke, cedar, citrus, minty eucalyptus, meaty nuances. Medium finish with a briny element that lingers.

Really good dram. Better value than the Blue (I like the Blue more, however). Complex, not super smooth, medium body and finish. Some peat, smoke, brine, spice, oak, menthol, lemon, some bitter, almonds, etc.

I do think that the Blue is overpriced. However, the dram is very good. It's definitely very subtle, nuanced, with layers of aroma revealing themselves over the course of 20, 30 or more minutes in the glass. It is smooth and complex, but lacks punch and power. Medium-bodied at best and the finish is rather short, but pleasant. Notes of spice, cedar, vanilla, caramel, smoke, brine, herbs, tea, peaches, etc.

I do like peaty, smoky drams. This one is good, but far from great. A bit rustic and the finish is rather short, but it has the oaky and smoky nuances that so many of us enjoy.

It's not offensive at all, rather good with a drop of water or one ice cube. Some peatiness and woody aromas and flavors. Not complex, rather angular, slightly alcoholic, with a medium-short finish.

Alcohol predominates both on the nose and the short finish, despite its low proof. Some notes of cereals, candied rice and spicy bitterness. It's OK for the price point, but not very enjoyable.
