Tastes

Woody but not aggressive. Sweet with a subtle winter spice. Really enjoyed this when sampled at Liquor Barn with a dash of water.

Sweet and friendly, butterscotch, vanilla, and almond. Little bit of funk on the nose.

This one struck me as odd when I first smelled it. It was strong, but very different. I couldn’t really put it to words until I tasted it, then realized it was a grassiness. Vanilla, Pepper, Grass, Hops, Chocolate

Nose: Butter, lemon, and maybe I’m crazy but kind of smells like a box of glazed doughnuts. Taste: Lots of butter, caramel, and citrus fruits. Perhaps a hint of banana as well... it is monkey shoulder after all. Mouth: Calm initially, followed by a rush of sweet flavor and an average finish. This is definitely an easy drinker.

Nose: Sweet honey. Light. Taste: Caramel, apple, and vanilla. Spice picks up very slightly at the end, but is still very mellow. Stumbled upon a distinct chocolate flavor at one point.

Orange Peel, Cherry, Vanilla, Wood, Cinnamon Sweet up front followed by more of the spicy and bitter notes. Oily mouthfeel with a dryer finish.
