Tastes

Very smooth with an oakt-vanilla nose. The pallet presents caramel and vanilla with and underscored grainyness. All in all a decent whiskey and very drinkable.

There is nothing super amazing spectacular here, but there is a nice malty, smokey, smooth drinking whiskey perfect for everyday consumption.

This is a nice unoffensive speyside malt. Reminiscent of of Balvenie doublewood, and almost as good.

The rye comes through on the nose. This is a whiskey starts out like a Speyside and finishes like a rye with hints of mint and rye spiciness. A very enjoyable expression.

This is a good smooth whisky, not overpowering in any sense, but very smooth. A decent daily drinker, I was pleasantly surprised when tasted at a fest, I now have a bottle for everyday sipping.

Brine and peat on the nose, but in a balanced way, not over powering. A smokey blend up front, but then you are hit with an unexpected but welcomed fruitiness that leads to a long lingering finish. This is one of the great whiskeys and possibily the best I've ever had.
