"Blended Scotch meets American rye barrels in this new offering from Johnnie Walker. It carries a hint of smoke on the nose, but on the palate it strikes a balance between the vanilla notes of American whiskeys and the grain-forward assertiveness of a single malt Scotch. Bourbon and rye drinkers looking to expand into Scotch should seek this one out. It's an excellent value for the price and a very enjoyable dram."
