    Sweet nose and sweet flavor. I get vanilla cinnamon and oak. Again a bit sweet for me with an oak finish. I prefer rowans creek

    I like this, a lot. As far as cognac goes it’s no Hennessy xo but for $50 what else can one ask for?

    Smooth on the nose. Hints of caramel and spices. A very pungent after taste that is unexpected and quite licorice tasting. Many other Irish whiskeys kick first then settle this is the other way around. I’m not a huge fan especially for $60 (Costco). A readbreast 12 will do much more nicely. 3.8/5 would not suggest in most cases
