An amazing Scotch with so much going on. You definitely get that syrupy red stone fruit note in addition to the lowland single malt grassy scotch flavor. And it is so, so good.

It's okay. It's got that Virginia mash whiskey flavor, but it's really harsh, even after you add water. I don't know if there's too much rye in the mash build or what, but it is not a smooth drink, and I think it confuses dissonance for complexity

Love this whiskey. Even though it is aged in Stout barrels, it has more of a hoppy note to it, in addition to the corn and vanilla.

Oh man. Incredible, incredible whiskey. Much sweeter than you expect, but still malty with a fantastic oaky body. Love love this.

Nice, but nothing too special. A little weirdn moldy note on the nose. Not as complex as I'd hoped.

Amazing rye. One of the best I've had. Definitely need to water it down. Spicy, but so perfectly balanced with some nice malt body.

Very odd. It has a strange funk to it. Tastes like some Scottish guys tried to make a Tennessee whiskey. Very malty, not very grassy, and the peat note isn't very balanced.

Amazing scotch. A deep peated note, but blended with a highland scotch to make a complex, perfectly balanced Scotch. Well done!

Pretty good, but kind of odd. I don't know if the high corn sweetness goes with the slight cherry of the french wine barrels. I'm just not sure it works. This particular mash bill may not be it. It may also be too much rye. The spice also throws off the balance of the overall whiskey. Even watering it down doesn't temper it so you can actually taste it. Not the smoothest drink, and that's disappointing.
