Tastes

Nose: oak and caramel, some fruit. Slightly rich on the tongue. Cinnamon and burn right off the bat. Burn hangs around for a little while. On the rocks the cinnamon stays, the burn is practically gone.

Oak and vanilla nose. Medium body and richness on the tongue. Some cinnamon and fruit flavors. Minimal burn. Rocks open up to some maple and honey sweetness.

Oak, leather and some citrus fruit on the nose. Full and rich to the tongue. More oak and leather with some vanilla and burn. The finish is quick, with some burn coming back to linger after you swallow. Overall smooth and balanced. The rocks bring out a lot of cinnamon, spice and herb in the body while the finish is then much more subtle. Warehouse: RS Barrel: 84-5I

Not much here outside of some oak near the finish.

Ethanol and oak to the nose. Tongue is immediately full with richness. Bright cinnamon and cherry singe the tastebuds as the burn coats the throat. The heat and burn linger long after it's gone. Bold and raw.

Nose is bright with oak. Flavor is bold with fruit and oak immediately followed by some heat. Burn hangs around in the finish as the flavors quickly dissipate. Unique and delicious.

Tobacco and pepper on the tongue. Very short and clean finish. Overall simple and tasty, but would be better with a longer finish.

Sweetness upfront with some lingering heat and slight leather flavor. Stronger than the proof suggests.

Quite mellow on the rocks. Good vanilla on the tongue with oak and other slight flavors of fruit. Would make a good daily considering the sub $30 cost for a fifth.

Caramel scent, long burning finish with a little fruit and strong floral notes. The progression through different flavors is very impressive. Get it cheap while you can, clerk told me they're gonna do away with the larger bottles and jack the price up to $50.
