Nose - dry wheat and grain doused in vanilla extract. Orange rind, almond, sour cream, sugar. Approach is soft and slowly develops into sweet vanilla, followed by faint cinnamon and then salt and smoke. Finish turns slightly nutty (peanuts), and then becomes just a tad bitter. For a blend that is priced so well I find this one of the best values out there. Always worth keeping some on hand.

Reviewed December 7, 2014 (edited February 14, 2015)Nose - vanilla, apple, lemon, orange, almond, cinnamon, sherry. Sweet honey and smoke arrival developing into candied lemon, oranges and almonds. Briny, but only in the background. Medium long finish that stays sweet and offers warm baking spices (cinnamon, nutmeg). Great mouthfeel and a flavor profile that I really enjoy.
