Tastes

Smooth with the classic tastes of caramel and vanilla. Yet has a lingering spice/Ginger flavor that makes it unique. Lovely sipper when you want something recognizable yet a little different from the normal Kentucky fare.

Oak and smooth. The main attraction here is having a sweet smooth finish. Biggest downside is quick finish.

Tough strong nose. But mellow flavor with mild sweetness and vanilla. Fades quickly but not unpleasantly.

Classic bourbon nose. Tastes of grain and a little sour. Fine for drinking or old fashioneds

Very subtle complex nose: Fruit and grain with pancake. The sip is soft and grainy with almost no spice commonly associated with rye. It expands slightly with a fruity warmth that lingers at the end.

Tasty. Very fruity nose. lite smoke and vanilla on the tongue. Flavor lingers with sweetness and butterscotch.

Nose is peaty and earthy with a hint of salty ocean. Taste turns from sweet to peat with smoke building the whole time. When you think it's finished it comes back to brown sugar sweetness. Truly remarkable.

Light smoke and ethanol on the nose. Sipping is much like smelling. Faint peat fades quickly to honey. Soothing like many Irish whiskies. Overall fine for something light but nothing amazing.
