For the price, this is a great rye. First of all, cherry is the predominant flavor i get in this. I get a lot of cherry notes when nosing this. Again, lots of cherry notes in the flavor. There is some woodiness, and there is a healthy serving of floral and spicy rye notes. I get a nice dose of vanilla as well. The finish is short and sweet with a medicinal cherry chloraseptic taste, which I personally love.26.0 USD per Bottle

McKenzie Bottled-in-Bond Wheated Bourbon
Bourbon — New York, USA
Reviewed June 6, 2024 (edited June 7, 2024)Mostly caramel on the nose with some slight grassy notes. Wheaty and grainy flavors mixed with some caramel and a hint of vanilla ring through. Some hints of white fruit make an appearance, but definitely hide in the background. There is a slight spiciness as well. A light-medium body. The finish is long enough to be appreciable with some ethanol burn, which might be off-putting to some, and cereal-like flavors with the aforementioned flavors lingering briefly before setlling into a caramel apple like flavor. I would recommend trying this if you like wheated bourbons.Finger Lakes Distilling
