Thought this was a great, flavorful bourbon. Had one pour at a bar. I wish I was able to find a bottle in my area

For the price, this is a great rye. First of all, cherry is the predominant flavor i get in this. I get a lot of cherry notes when nosing this. Again, lots of cherry notes in the flavor. There is some woodiness, and there is a healthy serving of floral and spicy rye notes. I get a nice dose of vanilla as well. The finish is short and sweet with a medicinal cherry chloraseptic taste, which I personally love.

Mostly caramel on the nose with some slight grassy notes. Wheaty and grainy flavors mixed with some caramel and a hint of vanilla ring through. Some hints of white fruit make an appearance, but definitely hide in the background. There is a slight spiciness as well. A light-medium body. The finish is long enough to be appreciable with some ethanol burn, which might be off-putting to some, and cereal-like flavors with the aforementioned flavors lingering briefly before setlling into a caramel apple like flavor. I would recommend trying this if you like wheated bourbons.

Sweet, earthy peat smell, oily mouthfeel, and i get some white fruit ( apple, pear) flavors. Some salty, woody astringency on the finish, followed by peat smoke and more white fruit flavors.
