I bought this, because at the crappy gas station, this was the only bottle of whiskey in a 375ml size that I hadn't tried. Anyway, I really liked it. Might have been because I hadn't had a sip of whiskey in a month due to playing Army out in the field. Anyway, it smelled great. Might have been the rye bread smelling like a Reuben sandwich, or like a flat coca-cola. Anyway, it did something for me. The rye spice wasn't that spicy. I've actually had spicier bourbon in high-rye bourbons than this actual rye. It was just really smooth and quite enjoyable. I would buy this again.29.99 USD per Bottle

Old Grand-Dad Bonded Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed June 18, 2018 (edited August 29, 2019)This is just a middle of the road drink. It’s supposed to be one of the best bang for the buck bourbons there is. To me, there was just something off about it. Not being snobby about price, because I like Ancient Age and Evan Williams, but this just wasn’t something I would buy again. I believe it might be the orange notes? I just don’t like orange flavored anything
