Nose weaker than the typical Wisers, but it still carries the strong pleasant caramel and spice that defines wiser whiskey.

Simple, a very good bourbon. I like the vanilla and drinkability. Ask me what I think tomorrow morning. 😆

Wow I found an age statement import for $22! Nose: dark chocolate, spearmint, lemon zest. Pleasantly bitter. Taste: Really drinkable, a bit of bite but an easily distinguishable grapefruit along with even, light Scotch flavors. Finish is pleasant: black pepper and long, lingering dark chocolate. I predict I’m going to buy more of this than any other Scotch.

Buffalo Trace Mash Bill #1. Love it, strong in all the normal bourbon flavors, but must drink in small amounts with ice. Proof is too high to buy again, but it’s undoubtedly great.

Nose of yellow pound cake, almond milk, glazed donuts Tastes really great. Rich black pepper and cinnamon spice, sweet honey, lemon with some char. Finish is very sharp, seems like a lot of burn and more honey. Maybe peanuts? Add ice due to the high proof, really smooths the sharp edges. Brings out Carmel and pepper in finish.
