Excellent! Sweet, smooth, spicy, and perfect.

Altogether pleasant, nice sweet nose, solid bourbon body but smooth, you can really get some fine ocean salt if you want, then an accentuated Jefferson’s black tea finish draws you right back for another sip. A great bourbon for me, just a bit expensive, going to have to make it last.

Pretty good for a rye, would like to grab a bottle to compare to the other great ryes.

It’s good but similar to the 4 year and I can’t tell a major difference. Go Hawkeyes. Slightly biased.

Nose has lots of citrus, pear, dark chocolate bitter sourness. Color is very light. Palate has a lot going on, excellent flavor progression from the first hard hit to the long enduring finish which makes you want more. I like it a lot, not enough to buy often though. Going to drink this one slowly.
