On the palate, oily whisky, the sweetness of malt balances the light, bone fire smoke, revealing notes of vanilla and butterscotch. The finish is quite short, sweet and lingering, with caramel and brown sugar. -

Reviewed April 17, 2024Nose: sweet pastry, peanut butter, toffee, milk chocolate,meatiness. Palate: Thick and oily, peanut butter, caramel, Weather’s Original, hint of soy sauce. Finish: Long and spicy, with notes of vanilla, caramel, spices, walnuts, earthiness, and oyster sauces. -
The nose presents a rich tapestry of leather, barbecued meats, honey, and candied fruits. On the palate, it delivers a satisfyingly oily texture, with immediate ash smoke intertwined with notes of honey, barbecue meats, white pepper steak and hints of charred oak and candied apples. The finish is long and lingering, with the enduring presence of ash complemented by honeyed barbecued meats.
