Flaviar Advent Day 6- tasted blind. Mild, smooth and approachable. Immediately picked up honey, heavy floral notes, mint and green tea. Nice Japanese whiskey.

Flaviar Advent Day 5- tasted blind. Not a big fan. Tastes thin, cheap and harsh. Strong honey, some ginger and faint nuttiness but nothing really stands out about this to me.

Day 4 Flaviar Advent- tasted blind- yummy! This reminds me of some Japanese whiskeys with the faint peat and the floral notes. I'm getting tastes of mango, dark chocolate and toffee, and enjoying picking up something a little different in every sip. Doesn't taste incredibly high end but is enjoyable.

Alexandria Barrels pick. On the tart/bitter/harsh side and I wish it was a bit sweeter and smoother. Faint fruit, some baking spices, oak, tannins, ethanol. This was alright but not particularly enjoyable to me.

Flaviar Advent Day 3- tasted blind. A pretty run of the mill scotch- peat, mildly smoky, some faint fruit (peach?) and a spicy finish. Not super smooth.

Day 2 of Flaviar Advent- tasted blind. Starts off very sweet with honey and apricot notes. Quickly fades into a very spicy rye & anise seed finish. Interesting but not amazing

Day 1 of Flaviar Advent- tasted blind. Smooth and relatively sweet with hints of maple, citrus, vanilla, nuts, menthol. A bit on the thin side and not terribly complex but enjoyable.

Private handpicked single barrel "Whammy!" Really delicious- lots of grapefruit and brown sugar with a moderately spicy finish.

Tons of flavor. Very spicy but so much smoother than you'd think from the proof. Banana bread, maple, red hots, rye, mint and faint floral notes. Long spicy finish.

Nice balance of sweet and spicy (more spice than sweet for sure). Citrus, anise seeds, rye, cinnamon, pepper.
