My nose says “summer apricots”.. no.. no.. “apricots in autumn’ (or was that a Johnny Mercer tune?)... on the palate rose petals chewed up then spit into a lemony biscuit muffin batter then sprinkled with caramel that also had chewed up roses in it.... JUST KIDDING... it is a most wonderful bourbon and everyone should have the pleasure of experiencing this masterpiece.

This one caught me by surprise. Bought this bottle with the assumption that it was a good peated scotch not a great peated scotch. I was wrong. It’s a great peated whiskey and I am many bottles in by now. If I were wearing a hat - I would tip it. Enjoy.

Becoming a big fan of Japanese whiskeys - and Japanese Harmony is a big reason why. Not going to bore you with ‘citrus this’ and ‘gingerbread that’. Just gonna keep it simple. Floral. Delicious. Neat.

A good bourbon but could be thicker on the palate and a bit more smoke on the finish. Still very good. Enjoy!
