I’m drinking the 6 year old. Might be the best peated scotch I ever had. Bought six bottles. But the 6 before I clean out the shelves

Nose: wow! Palate: wow! Finish: wow! ENJOY!!!!

Didn’t work for me. Poured it down the drain.

Disappointing. I expected more of EVERYTHING. Drab. Too expensive for what it is. Buy the Caol Ila 12. So much better UPDATE: let it sit for several months and tried again. Vast improvement. Sometimes you gotta let it sit. Add a star!

Okay rye. Some should love it but too sweet and not enough rye spice for my taste. I consider it an entry level rye despite 50%. High point for me is the oily mouthfeel.

As a bourbon- it is an average bourbon. As a ‘smoky’ bourbon - it is an average bourbon. Perhaps I was disappointed in this because all my scotch is heavily peated, thereby I was unable to catch much ‘smoke’ or ‘sea’ in this bottle - BUT if you don’t drink peated, this might be an interesting bourbon to try.

A beautiful whiskey. NCF, NC. Looks grand in the glass. A pale lemony yellow. A no BS pour. Smells, tastes and finishes a perfect combination of beach and citrus. Smooth. One could drink this all day. No water. No ice. Enjoy it as is. 46.3%. Delicious.

Not a fan of “sherry bombs” but I have to admit this is a great whiskey.
