High West Double Rye
Rye — (bottled in) Utah, USA
Reviewed November 25, 2018 (edited November 30, 2018)For the price it's amazing. Surprising mellow on the nose and first mouth cover with hints of wood and vanilla, mouth feel of molasses after swallowing. A tingling sensation of spice/cinnamon comes in late and lingers gently on the tongue and mouth to a soothing finish. Can see why it would be a great add into a mixed drink.30.0 USD per Bottle -
High West A Midwinter Night's Dram
Rye — (bottled in) Utah, USA
Reviewed October 31, 2018 (edited April 11, 2019)Act 6; Scene 4: Extreamly sharp spice in the nose in the glass that continues at first taste, leading into warmth and sweetness. Warmth stays long in the mouth with a puckered sweetness left that lasts. Can see why this is a perfect evening dram next to a fireplace.150.0 USD per Bottle -
Glenfiddich Fire & Cane
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed October 29, 2018 (edited November 6, 2018)Lots of smokiness that fills the senses that leads to a mellow sweetness. Might not like if you don’t like smoke. Sugary molasses feel at the end. Warmth in the chest comes late. Enjoyable cold night dram.
