A classically styled bourbon with some serious flavor. Sip, sip, it’s gone.

An exceptionally delicious dram. Oozing with layer after layer of decadent barley flavors. This is a whisky that shows that peat and age statements aren’t all there is to Islay single malts. Well done!

Big, bad, and bold, this whiskey is a bruiser of a bourbon. Hefty charred notes mingling with cigar and dark cherry. Hell of a neat sipper for a cold night

Straightforward peat here. Campfire on the nose, more peat and barley on the palette. Tasty, but lacking some of the complexity of its Islay compatriots. A worthwhile dram for smokeheads

A competent, but uncompelling bourbon. Some pleasant flavors, but the overall effect is clumsy, with big oak riding on top of the leather and spice. Reminds me of Eagle 10. At this price point, it’s a skip for me.

Interesting stuff. Definitely a lesson in corn. A little rough for neat sipping, but worth a try to experience the variety of corn flavors. Makes for a unique old fashioned. Certainly good value for money.
