Tastes

This is my first taste but there’s scotch in this. I don’t hate it. It’s peaty. I got it at $65. I’m convincing myself It’s ok.

A fruit basket in a barrel. Full bodied, sweet, and mighty spicy. Don’t leave an open flame in the room. This is good stuff if you like barrel proof. The awards are well deserved. Buy it.

This is the bar for all other whiskies. Perfectly balanced and a price that anyone can afford. Now you have to find it.

Cinnamon, toffee, chocolate but light bodied and a nice ethanol middle. This is fun. I want to drink this on a fall morning so I guess I’ll start drinking in the morning.

Lots of heat and spice. Not as much sweet. Grows on me as I drink it. Definitely makes me feel like an old grandad.

Whooaaa this is fun. It’s got some heat but once your mouth goes numb. It’s really tasty. I’ve got the OESF mashbill. Both subtly sweet and a vague wintergreen flavor. Obviously the bourbon notes come through beautifully. Worth the price at $72 that says A LOT. Buy em if you see em.

It grows on me the more I drink it. Sweet nose, heavy ethanol middle, and sweet cherry finish. Try this before the single barrel.

Whiskey excellence. It doesn’t make sense for the price. It’s the least offensive bottle of whiskey I’ve tasted. It’s the perfect gift because everyone loves it. Buy it when you see it but it’s usually in the back. Ask for it by name.

The best bottle I’ve had under $20 hands down. It’s a steal for the price.

This is smooth. For $50 yea go ahead and buy this. Classic whiskey taste. Not too much in any direction.
