WhistlePig 6 Year PiggyBack Rye
Rye — (bottled in) Vermont, Canada
Reviewed September 21, 2020 (edited November 6, 2020)Nose:leather, tobacco, caramel Taste: light licorice, smooth pepper spice, mint Bought this to try a 100% rye. It's definitely different than a bourbon. I kinda liked a lot about it, but wasn't really my jam. Will probably try another rye down the line. This seems a little bit too expensive for me.52.0 USD per Bottle -
Nose: light oak, sweet Taste: oak, floral This is my first introduction into bourbon. It's very basic in comparison to a lot of others, especially since it's a blend of up to all 10 of their varieties. I don't think I would sip this neat, but I am looking forward to their Small Batch or Single Barrel offerings.25.0 USD per Bottle

Dry Fly Straight Washington Wheat Whiskey
Wheat Whiskey — Washington , USA
Reviewed September 21, 2020 (edited March 25, 2022)Nose: honey (mead), mellow, spice Taste: sweet, bread, licorice I enjoyed the sweetness and light taste of this, but as it opened up, I started getting a licorice taste, which I did not like. Bought it to try a 100% wheat whiskey. I wouldn't buy again, but maybe try another brand or something with other grains in the mashbill.40.0 USD per Bottle
