A very unique kind of smokiness. Herbal and medicinal with a strong character and lingering finish. Has some weirdness to it for sure, but I like it.

Was excited to try this one since it’s not in American markets. Probably the smoothest peated whiskey I have had although it does have a moderate amount of peat, definitely lower than the major islay whiskies. A little bit of sweetness and very smooth. A great easy drinking scotch to get into the peat game.

Fruit, honey, and spicy with a little bit of smoke. Very smooth!

Smooth as honey with a fruity and citrus nose and notes of oak and vanilla and cake frosting.

A heavy duty islay malt not for the faint of heart. A lot of smoke and a surprising after burn from the higher abv. Some herbal notes. Nice with a few drops of water, but I’m good with just one for the night.

Definitely very Smokey but quite smooth as well. Smoother than Laphroaig 10.

Pale gold color. Light bodied and floral. No smoke. Easy drinking.

Fruity, honey, and some spice on the nose. Sweet on the palate. Quite smooth neat and makes a good old fashioned.
