Isle of Harris The Hearach
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed December 11, 2024 (edited February 11, 2026)Nose : light peat, medicinal, evolving to cacao notes Mouth : dry, eucalyptus, quite complex Finish : short, missing structure For me a super complex whisky because can’t really put it into a box. Maybe that’s what’s good about it. -
Nose : peaty, smoke, gasoline, almonds, salty water, medicinal Mouth : spicy (like really spicy), pepper Finish : long, peaty Feels like firing a match and putting it in your mouth. For this price, not sure anything better exists. Started with Laphroaig 10 when I got into whisky a few years ago, and coming back to it now after a big break. Need to try L10 to compare. But damn I love Islays.29.0 EUR per BottleAlfortville
