Nose : bbq sauce, licorice, caramel Mouth : super soft intro, more bbq Finish : gentle, tabacco notes Good one. Suprisingly more gentle than I tought.

Nose : alcohol, light peat, medicinal Mouth : strong peat, pine, chilli Finish : long, heavy I love peaty scotchs but this one ain’t making it to the fav’ list.

Nose : cedar, inviting, preserved fruit, apple, pear Mouth : quite complex, caramel, creme brulée Finish : more peaty, less sweet, a bit of spice Definitely a complex dram.

Nose : light, apple Mouth : cappucino, very smooth, sweet Finish : tropical, mango Very easy and very drinkable.

Nose : cereal, sarrasin, chardonnay Mouth : sweetness, butter, white wine-ish Finish : short Not my style but worth the sips.

Nose : light peat, medicinal, evolving to cacao notes Mouth : dry, eucalyptus, quite complex Finish : short, missing structure For me a super complex whisky because can’t really put it into a box. Maybe that’s what’s good about it.

Nose : apple Mouth : apple, spice Finish : watery, smooth Perfect.

Nose : peaty, smoke, gasoline, almonds, salty water, medicinal Mouth : spicy (like really spicy), pepper Finish : long, peaty Feels like firing a match and putting it in your mouth. For this price, not sure anything better exists. Started with Laphroaig 10 when I got into whisky a few years ago, and coming back to it now after a big break. Need to try L10 to compare. But damn I love Islays.
