Strong orange peel smell and flavor, moderate juniper, moderate spice, plenty of ethanol on the nose but that’s to be expected at 55%. All in all, it’s a damn good gin if you don’t want a dominating juniper/sage/pine flavor and want something closer to a flavored vodka.53.0 USD per BottleBaton Rouge

Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 27, 2020 (edited April 13, 2021)Smells like oak, toffee, caramel, and a hint of vanilla. Tastes floral, and kind of like cherries, with a stronger vanilla flavor, and still plenty of oak taste. It’s a pretty bright flavor. Getting a decent amount of ethanol on the nose but it’s not bad. -
Jefferson's Reserve Very Old Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

Smell isn’t too strong or out of the ordinary. Ethanol with a little vanilla, caramel, maybe slight breadiness. Taste is quick, not sharp at all. Heat and common bourbon flavors that imply higher rye content. All in all I think the flavors are quite average, and this works well if you just want something simple, quick and light with a little heat. Seems that it would be better suited for mixing. This would be better priced at $25 in my opinion.32.0 USD per BottleBaton Rouge
