St. George Botanivore Gin
Modern Gin — California, USA
Reviewed April 28, 2019 (edited September 5, 2020)BOOM!!!!!!! This would overwhelm in a Martini. Stands up well in a G&T with good tonic and in a Negroni (Red or White) -
Updating: Ethanol nose with fermented stone fruit. Initial heat followed by ethanol, Oak, honey, vanilla, banana, black cherry and spice. Finish is very pleasant ...no hurrying this dram. Water helps matters considerably. I was gifted a bottle last summer 2020. The more I pour this, the more I appreciate it.

A veritable flavor bomb. Water definitely opens up the song book. Sherry, pear, dried fruit, smoke, wood, vanilla, baking spice...it’s all there. It is incredibly hard to find now that it’s W.A. whiskey of the year. I just managed to add a bottle, inventory now 2. The first is almost a dead soldier.
