I cannot believe I’ve just been using this in Manhattans! I think this is the third bottle I’ve owned! I just poured a dram into my whiskey glass with an ice cube. I’m in love ,,, caramel, spice, dried stone fruit, lovely finish. Smooth as silk. Perhaps I’ll leave the Manhattans to George Dickel.

Just an easy drinker. Rich and fruity.. lighter in body but full flavor. This will be a regular in my collection.

This is a flavor bomb. I’d pretty much agree with the flavor notes. Try this with a splash of water and a bit of chocolate or toffee. Marvelous. I received this as a gift last week from a colleague .. very impressed.

Updating: Ethanol nose with fermented stone fruit. Initial heat followed by ethanol, Oak, honey, vanilla, banana, black cherry and spice. Finish is very pleasant ...no hurrying this dram. Water helps matters considerably. I was gifted a bottle last summer 2020. The more I pour this, the more I appreciate it.

A veritable flavor bomb. Water definitely opens up the song book. Sherry, pear, dried fruit, smoke, wood, vanilla, baking spice...it’s all there. It is incredibly hard to find now that it’s W.A. whiskey of the year. I just managed to add a bottle, inventory now 2. The first is almost a dead soldier.

Sweet, caramel, baking spices with a slight bit of wood smoke. Lovely finish, low alcohol bite. This is my third bottle. A lovely winter sipper and just killer in an old fashioned or Manhattan.
