Love the smoke on this one. As it opens up you can get a bit of sweetness. Water doesn't do too much, maybe I get a bit of an earthy note with a couple of drops

It's fine, not my first pick for scotch. I really don't get a whole lot of notes, just really woody to me. Adding a couple of drops of water make it kind of musty?

Salt, pepper, smoke, and a touch of honey. Pretty intense heat that is dulled slightly by a couple of drops of water (though water doesn't change much else). I think I prefer this slightly over the 10 year. Just a bit more of a smoky profile that I look for in peated whiskys.

Nice sweet balanced whisky. Long finish. Adding a couple of drops of water dulls the nose and doesnt impact taste to a huge degree

Sweet apples and pears lead to a strong bite of pepper and wood on the finish. Adding a couple drops of water give me leather and tobacco notes as well. Runs a bit hot for me but some water helped, and really brings out the pepper as well

Definitely not a typical scotch, the tequila cask kind of works for me honestly. It's sweet and salty and lingers on the palette for a while. Not sure if I'd buy a full bottle but definitely worth a try

One of the classics for me. Nose is all raisins and to me almost pure simple syrup. Tasting is the same flavors af first, though perhaps less intense. Then the finish I get notes of cherry tobacco

The sweetness hits me first, mainly vanilla and butterscotch, then I get a strong brine with a hint of smoke ending with notes of toasted nuts (pecans? Almonds?). First time having this one and it's definitely well worth buying the bottle!

On the nose I get smoked bacon. I get peaty sweetness on tasting that fades into oak and hints of floral notes
