Tastes

Just opened this one up. Very light nose. The palate is very delicate and definitely doesn’t drink like a 107 proof. Sweet with the WT profile. Finish is nice. Great, easy drinking bourbon.

Started off better than I remembered it. Some depth to the nose and not just alcohol. Palate started off ok with some fruit and carmel undertones but the finish kicks in quick and takes over. Oak, pepper/spice, tannins and alcohol burn. Thought ice would calm that down but that was a big mistake. The ice just dulled the initial palate and amplified the finish. Couldn’t put my finger on it, but almost bitter. Rating as if I stayed neat and will try again soon.

Great experience every time. This is such a terrific bourbon. Great nose and flavor plate. Nice heat on the finish.

Just an overall terrific bourbon. Great nose, balanced palate and really smooth finish. Look forward to tasting this again soon.

This one has a fantastic nose. I literally can’t even explain. Could just smell this all day. Palate is very sweet and smooth. No burn on the finish. Very nice pour.
