The fragrance is best enjoyed from the pour instead of the bottle. You really get the full range. The taste is very smooth and pleasant on the tongue. Very reminiscent of high quality bourbon. Nothing overwhelming about any particular flavor which really makes it a forgiving and enjoyable single malt.189.0 USD per BottleBow Street Beverage

Lagavulin 1999 Distillers Edition (Bottled 2015)
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed July 2, 2021You wouldn’t think there wouldn’t be much difference between editions, but this has a much quieter aroma. The flavor doesn’t disappoint. This edition would be much better accompanied by a meal. Other distillers editions seem to be better by a campfire. You still can’t seem to go wrong with Lagavulin. -
