    The fragrance is best enjoyed from the pour instead of the bottle. You really get the full range. The taste is very smooth and pleasant on the tongue. Very reminiscent of high quality bourbon. Nothing overwhelming about any particular flavor which really makes it a forgiving and enjoyable single malt.

    Not going to impress the flavor seekers of the world, but a surprisingly easy nose for it’s proof. For those neck hairs who aren’t afraid, a wonderful bourbon for the drinkers that want a high proof whiskey.

    Salty extravaganza. This is the champion of non-peaters. A wonderful change. I loved the fresh take on Islay scotches.

    Don’t be scared by the first impression. The aroma is nothing to write home about, but the flavor takes you for a ride. This is smooth and full flavor bringing you a strong warm taste. Every sip makes you look forward to the next. I very much enjoy this decision and would order another drink

    You wouldn’t think there wouldn’t be much difference between editions, but this has a much quieter aroma. The flavor doesn’t disappoint. This edition would be much better accompanied by a meal. Other distillers editions seem to be better by a campfire. You still can’t seem to go wrong with Lagavulin.

    You just can’t beat this aroma. Campfires, eat your heart out. Smoke and peat will carry me into a warm evening. If smells are attached to emotions, this scotch will have you feeling happy till you slumber off and your dreams take over. Love. This. Scotch.

    There are better Laphroaigs available than this, but the Cairdeas doesn’t disappoint. My burps will have a smokey aftertaste for a few hours and I’m not mad about it.

    An inviting aroma, reminiscing of an old friend. The taste was delightfully smoky. Very warm and smooth honey taste. Best enjoyed on a cold winter evening.

    Very quiet upon entry. Quickly fills the pallet with that classic malt taste. Gentle exit provides for a safe drink to share among new scotch tasters. The rum is noticeable in the aroma

    I’m drunk. This is new. Very full of fruity flavor. Slightly overwhelming. Might not suggest for first time tasters. Still...a scotch is a scotch. Down into my belly. Bravo Balvenie
