Definitely get the sherry influence with a bit of bite at the end. Not the type of bite that is off putting. Someone mentioned this is like an Irish whiskey and bourbon mixed together and I can’t agree more. I personally get that apple caramel that I get with bourbons. Especially on the nose

Nose: Campfire peat, roasted marshmallow and definitely the sherry Taste: More campfire, light sweetness, dark fruits Finish: long lasting Smokey

Recommend added a bit of water. Less alcohol bite and you get much more vanilla and fruitiness. Very enjoyable

Got some of the vanilla from the oak that I assume was used before the sherry casks on the nose along with slight sherry and medicinal notes. Taste was about the same as the nose. Cigar flavor lingers after some time. Taste doesn’t last very long. Ok scotch but wouldn’t purchase a full bottle.
