Tastes

Tobacco and cinnamon pop on the first nosing, with a woody and earthy mint note following. The first sip is drenched in oak, but it’s not overpowering and allows a strong caramel sweetness to come through. More mint, toffee, and oak tag along, and the finish is nutty and sweet. It doesn’t have much of a finishing mouth feel, but that’s maybe it’s only slight.

The nose is sweet featuring dark chocolate and caramel. It comes off with more sweetness on the tongue, following strongly along the lines of Jamesons base whiskey. Some chocolate covered strawberry and a nice malty grain flavor are present, with a hint of cream and a little coffee beans thrown in. Finish is smooth and quick.
