Tastes

Had a malted milkshake smell that ends on a fruity cherry note. In the first taste there was some marshmallow notes. Subsequent tastes brought out peanuts and leather. The after taste had a lingering medicinal cherry taste but not awful. Tasted side by side with BT and found BT was sweeter. Went back to Travellers and found chocolate notes. There might be some hints of Rye in there.

My favorite of the Old Forester line. Caramel and toffee with mint on the nose. Some berry and Vanilla notes. Doesn’t hit like 93 proof, much smoother.

Purchased 1 Liter in Jan of ‘24 from Curiada. Cherry and Vanilla on the nose. Mint, faint sharpie. Very smooth, no burn on the back end. Sweet and caramel on the taste, with oak. Taste is simpler than the smell. Not much depth or complexity in developing taste.
