this worked as a mixer for sure, but it was actually quite enjoyable on its own. Not as flavorful or distinctive as something like Haku, but smooth and pleasing nonetheless.

Very similar to sake, at least in taste and up front. Very ethanol heavy on the back, almost overwhelming so for such a light spirit.

Tequila is still a journey for me. I get a whole helping of the agave, as well as some smoke and dark oak. The finish is extremely long, and there's a surprising amount of sweetness at the back.
