Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed May 23, 2024 (edited August 29, 2024)The nose boasts soft sweet floral aromas with vanilla bean. Reminds me of honey-suckle in the summer. The attack is soft and coats the tongue. Vanilla, butter, caramel, and honey dominate the palate. The finish remains soft and warm. Leaves you wanting more.100.0 USD per Bottle -
I pick up a bit of mint (spearmint) on the nose. Also woodiness and baking spices can be picked up. The attack is soft and prickly. Butterscotch is a prevailing initial flavor, but baking spices of all spice and cinnamon take over. There is a Slight tannin mouth-feel that creates a med-short finish.65.0 USD per Bottle

First and foremost… I pause too much for this! Look for a price range of $65 +/- $10. Beautiful color, and a soft nose. Attack is soft and develops into a med-low mid pallet. Very smooth with a nice “hug” and baking flavors. Not a bold “in your face” bourbon, but a woody, warm finish remains in your mouth for about 20 seconds. Leaves you wanting more.90.0 USD per Bottle

Nose is underwhelming, but the attack packs a punch. An incredible sharp bite mellows into a heavy body with honey, nutty, and light tobacco flavors. The finish is warm, but a little short for my liking. I’m SHOCKED this is on 86 proof. Drinks like a cask strength for 1/2 the price.32.0 USD per Bottle

Traverse City Whiskey Co. American Cherry Edition
Flavored Whiskey — Michigan , USA
Reviewed January 15, 2022Love this. Got to be in the mood, but I love how the cherry isn’t over done. I’m not going to write a full review, because it’s more of a cordial. Makes a great Old Fashioned, or Manhattan though! haha30.0 USD per Bottle
