Had some older label Wild Turkey 101, good amount of charred oak notes, burnt butter, carmelized notes, decent presence of rye spiced bread notes, a tad harsh in comparison to something even higher proof like Makers Mark Cask Strength, decent enough to warrant an introduction to a Coke Highball, which might be the intention of this product.

Smoky, with a presence of charred oak that imparts a burnt butter caramel note that stays throughout and notes of vanilla on the nose, the palate introduces candied orange peels and baking spices and finishes with mellowed maple notes that continue on with the oak ever so present for the breadth of this pour.

Reviewed May 26, 2023Nose is toasted oak, vanilla, rye, and a tinge of honey. Oily with fast running, spindles for legs. Palate introduces toffee, the finish is extradonairy with a lingering effect that almost outstays its welcome, the note being highly spiced rye. Amber in color, heavy and sluggish legs, nose is charred oak, vanilla extract, honey liqueur, and baking spice, stings sides of tongue, warmth from alcohol, semi-sweet in nature, vanilla persists with a backing typical of corn spirits, finish lingers strongly with oak wood and leather, smooth going down.24.99 USD per Bottle
