Lagavulin 16 is for sure one of the best scotch from Islay. It is very smoky like ham and got the saltiness and woody. But on palate is so smooth and yet got a kick of spice.

This is much more complex than the ardbeg 10year old. More oily more creamy. But after 2 drops of water it's fantastic. The aroma get more citrus and vanilla.

This full body Islay single malt is amazing well balance of sweetness and peat. What's is lack of will be the saltiness. But I still love it.

To me, this is my ultimate taste of Islay scotch. And this is also my beginning of my whisky collection. The unique of laphroaig taste is a must try and must have in the bar.

Not my most favorite compare to laphroaig or Lagavulin. It's got a weird finishing like a raisin rum Sweetness not to my liking.
