Tastes

Sweet but strong. Strong vanilla and rye. Harsh burn neat. Ice opens the vanilla but increases the rye. Solid sipper.

Sweet spice on the nose. Carmel on the tongue followed by immediate spice that lightens on the way down. A bit of vanilla an oak make a sumptuous sip. A good neat drink. Adding a few cubes opens the sweetness and adds a layer of spice from below. Cloves and smoke of the aftertaste. Drink works well both neat and on the rocks.

Smoooooth. Caramel, huge vanilla, cherry. Gentle woodiness. Light burn for barrel proof. No dilution necessary. Solid mouth feel. Sweet after taste.

Sweet caramel with a tight burn. Very flavorful with nice after taste. Strong mouthfeel. Sweet after burn. Does not need to be cut. Quite lovely.

Peat and carmel on the nose. Sweet peat on first taste. Light burn, could use more. Not much aftertaste. Decent flavor. Not a go to.

Big mouth full of burn to start but not unbearable. Sweet char on the nose. Burn going down. Nice hug. Sweet flavor.

Good Wheated whisky. Sweet with vanilla and nice oak and char flavor. Small bite. Opens well with water which mellows the burn. Good whisky though may be a bit pricy.

Was expecting more for a bottle that sells at $250. Strong burn that wasn’t cut well with water. Decent flavors of oak and smoke but overshadowed with too much spice. Not worth the cost of a bottle in the least.

A solid rye. Not too spicy as other eyes get. Opens up nicely with water. Full and leathery with a good burn, but not overpowering. Better than the Rittenhouse from same Heaven Hill distiller.

Big body with nice color. Rich and spicy on the nose. Floral overtones. Strong bite worthy of a 130 proof liquor. With water still has a large bite but goes down smooth. Oaky and floral. A very nice neat beverage.
