Maybe a bit more briny than the 10. Bolder flavors. Quite good but not as special as other Caideas releases.

I wish i had bought two bottles. Sweet sherry anf medicinal peat is so dang good. Flavors are huge and like the 2016 and 2018 Cairdeas, the rich sweetness develops as it moves along the tongue. Of particular note, this drinks much lower than the proof.

Initial taste, was a bit out of balance. There was thr Laphroaig, and then there was thr cask influence. After sitting, much better. Some sweetness there but not as pronounced as other red wine finishes.

Very similar to the standard 10 but amped up. Definitely drinks its proof. A little water rounds it out. Interestingly, going back and sampling the standard 10 after this, the standard 10 is super muted. A bit of flavor but no punch.

Caught a hint of cinnamon on the nose. Palate is same as always - briny, medicinal smoke. Delightful.

Medicinal peat on the nose. Light peat on the palate. It’s fine. Ashy. Sweet.
