Lots of peat, light and bright

Pretty smooth, but not that complex

More like 3.5 stars for me, but I did prefer it to the 10 year Eagle Rare. There is more going on in this one, but still not as refined as I like.

Not that smooth. A nice maple syrup component, but surprising lack of complexity. Spicier than I like. Tried it neat; could be better with water.

I guess for the price, it is pretty good. A little thin and medicinal to me. I much prefer the Ardberg Ug... in a similar style.

One to obsess over. Very smooth for the proof level. I get a little salt at the front end and a hint of smoke on the back end. A little sweeter than Blanton's, but not in a bad way. Likely a different barrel than the reviewer tasted. Need this in my collection.
