The nose is nice and light, with a hint of cinnamon. Unfortunately that's the best part. I haven't had this in a while, and now I remember why. The taste in the mouth is actually unpalatable, and the finished taste like leather.

Very nice nose. There was more spice in this bourbon then I thought given that it's from the low rye mash bill at Buffalo Trace. Finish was very nice, though not spectacular.

Slight smokiness with vanilla and a bit of caramel in the nose, which is followed through in the tasting. The finish is nice, but not anything terribly strong.

Okay nose, with vanilla and a little nut. Tastes young, with not a lot of anything but alcohol. Nothing but alcohol burn in the finish.

Vanilla, charred oak and rye spice on the nose. Charred wood in the flavor too, with the obvious rye. Maybe too much rye, maybe not enough, but a few drops of water helped. Finish is good, and gets better after a few.
