Tastes

This is a sweeter bourbon, wonderful vanilla and oak. If you're a sweet bourbon fan, look no further. Price/Taste ratio on this is great...but you know, check against your going rate.

Great whiskey smooth and smokey and a bit sweet. A little hard to validate the asking price for a regular drinker, but worth a shot now if you can find it due to the discontinued nature.

A complex beast. You either like it, or you don't! You can get different flavors on each sip. I kept picking things up for my first few sips. Those who don't like it will find and describe it as astringent. I find it smokey, slightly sweet, and definitely a salt water/seaweed vibe, I suspect that flavor is what turns many people off, but if that doesn't dissuade you, I think it's excellent!

This is very much a sweeter whiskey. Lots of cinnamon and clove. Really great for around the holidays. It's not what I'd consider an every day sipper because of it, but it's well worth a shot if you can find it.

Not as potent as say an ardbeg, but that doesn't mean it's lacking. I get a good smokey flavor and a bit more of a bite to it...must be the storm :p

Not quite as mature as the ardbeg 10, and unfortunately for me makes it not one I'd typically pick over the 10 year unless it's a good deal. Not a bad whiskey, but I find it hard at the price slot it's in when comparing to others.

This is my go to for peated whiskey. Strong and smokey and bursting with flavor. A little salt to top it off

It doesn't get much better. Nice sherry and very smooth
