With both the high rye and proof, I expected a big spice but was surprised it wasn’t that bad. First sip was spicy but then the flavors really came out after. Caramel (my favorite), sugars. Not a big finish for me, but really good for the price.

Burn on tongue right away. Hint of caramel and oak. Oily texture. Finish is syrupy

Great nose. Sweet and a bit of heat. Tongue is really sweet. Reminds me of Weller Antique. Good finish and slight heat at end. A new favorite of mine but of course I can’t find it anywhere.

Nose is heavy of ethanol and spice but opens up a bit more after tasting. Palate is spicy as well, with notes of oak. Long finish of more spice and oak, leather? 100 proof. Not bad but not a buy for me.
