wonderfully peaty, with spicy nots on the finish, noses well less smoky than the taste, notes of sweet, maybe honey? slight citrus notes throughout, but a well peated taste.

Perfectly smoky while adding delicate nots of apple and pear, with a touch of brine of good measure. spicy without being overbearingly so, as it would fight the delicate tastes too much. very well balanced for an Islay.
