I absolutely love this Rye. It is a fantastic treat. Nice dancing on the tounge with hard hitting proof. Hints of spicy vanilla and saddle leather. But, I really want to reccomend it. I really do. However at $90, its not that substantially better than its peers in the Rye category to be worth the extra $30-45. As a treat or celebratory bottle? Do it. Savor it. Enjoy it. As a stock Rye entry? Needs work. As my wife said, "cute bottle!". As as I said, "better damm be".

Smooth but flat flavors. Buttery caramel flavor profile. Minimal burn and finish. Very drinkable.

This pour hits above its class. Sweet, spicy, with long drawn out flavor and heat. Tastes of vanilla and vanilla dominate the tounge in a highly satisfying drink.

A decent Knob. Incredibly drinkable. Flat on finish for Rye.

This is a deceptive bourbon. Tastes great at first. The longer you drink it a unpalatable undertone flavor emerges. Vanilla, caramel and spice from a higher rye mash in a high proof. Down noted for a weird finish.

Decent enough. Spicy and drinkable.

For a definite budget-in-between-paychecks pour, its really quite impressive. A decent taste with notes of caramel and brings tasty lasting heat. Its not top shelf, but its stands out in a value package. Dont get turned off by the lack of cork, it stands firmly as a BiB. Update: several months later this has become my daily pour. I highly recommend.
