Tastes

Rye seems predominant. Earth, dark chocolate,black pepper, nutmeg, heather, malt, wheat then corn. Slight smoke, peat. Very dry finish, although lasting warmth. This is an interesting whiskey. Perhaps because it is 4 grain?To me this one will need a few chances. Try- neat, with a few drops of water or on ice.

Decent enough; corn forward, sharp, tastes young.

Peaty for sure, but balanced, earthy with a small touch of chocolate. The nose also has a earthy, peaty and slightly spicy nose.
