Lugnaquilla Peated Irish Whiskey
Peated Blended Malt — Irish, IrelandTasted November 20, 2021Light peat and smoke on the nose, lots of sweet there. The pallet is smokey, peaty, brown sugar, spices, vanilla, and there is certainly an Irish whiskey flavor to it. The finish is short, spicy, and sweet. It's a nice whiskey, not overly complex, and has a nice level of smoke and peat.

The palate is a bold rush of flavors, all that you expect from Islay, peat, smoke, some brine, some oiliness, and a hint of chocolate. And then it all disappears at the end, the finish is short, warm, spicy, with just a hint of lingering peat and saltwater brine.
