Tastes

The nose is mild, but has brine, slightly floral, and promises of Islay. The palate is bold lump chocolate, overripe cherries, Christmas rum pudding, and a bit bitter. The finish is sharp, bitter, dry, and short.

On the nose, it's peat, pears, chocolate, and smoke. The palate is peat, honey, leather, tea, and brine, it's quite mild. The finish lingers warm, peated, bitter, wood, and brine. Water makes it more bitter, sour, and hot. It is easily overpowered by water.

The nose is strong with alcohol, mild banana cake, and a bit of plastic. The flavors are bold with peat and smoke, brine, citrusy notes, I get light fruits, pear or sweet apple. The finish is long and warm, with salt and wood.

The nose is very mild, there's hardly anything there, and what is there, has a mild white wine, cider note. The pallet is spicy, fairly warm, I get peaches or pears, there's a bit of spice, a bit of salt, and maybe a hint of white chocolate. It's also quite sweet. But finishes short, spicy, and a bit dry.

The nose has light fruits, apple & pear, vanilla, some leather. The palate is rich, fruity, heavily apple sauce, sweet, with some mild green tobacco leaf, and a bit of oak. It has a creamy texture. Overall I find the finish is very spicy, warm, and slighty sharp/tangy, with spice, cinnamon, and more cooked apple or pear. The finish is also very short. Water brings out massive pepper flavours and huge heat on the finish.

The nose has salt water, peat, and sweet fruit. The palate is smoky, peaty, bold, salty, sweet, light fruits, leather, and spices. The finish is long, quite warm, and dry.

The nose is mild, mostly peat, a hint of sweet clover. The palate is smoky, peaty, smooth, with mild tar, black licorice, and salt flavours. The finish is warm, salty, spicy, and smooth.

The nose is fresh, and citrusy. Orange, honey, autumn spices, creamy, sweet, sherry, and very smooth on the palate. The finish is smooth, warm, and spicy.

The nose is salt water, hints of ozone. On the palate It's maraschino cherries, grass, mildly medicinal, oily and wood. There are also hints of brine, ripe, plums, and sweetness. The finish, like all of the flavors in this is very mild, and short, fruity, oily, peaty and woody.

Rum, chocolate, smoke, oil, a hint of soap, and peat on the nose. It's very rich, earthy, sour, elastoplast, leather, licorice, plastic, smoke, sulfur, tobacco, wood and licorice on the palate. The finish is long, dry, grassy, oily and salty.
