Tastes

Noses pray, honey, meaty more on the side of bacon. The palate is smoked honey and finishes with a maritime saltiness.

Nose an herbal note with a touch of bourbon oak, the palate is soft perfumy fruit and finishes with a spicy merlot note.

First pour, on the nose I get maple, baking spices, on the palate I get rye spice and it finishes like a stick of big red chewing gum. Looking forward to seeing how this opens up.

1st pour notes: Nose gives me vanilla frosting, amaretto, dusty corn, touch of caramel, floral, wheat bread and baking spice. On the palate I get more spice, cinnamon sugar from like a cinnamon bun and Carmel. The finish is where this falls short for me I get drying oak, burnt sugar, and a heaping helping of tartness. I hope the finish mellows some after it's had time to oxygenate.

Fantastic Sherry peanut nose, palate is more Sherry & roasted nuts on the front but very sharp & young on the back end. The finish mellows & lingers sweetly.
