Color: light amber Nose: caramel apple sucker, banana laffy taffy, vanilla, butterscotch Palate: Black pepper, licorice, leather, tobacco, cloves, oak Finish: medium finish with more leather and Black pepper. I also get a touch of citrus almost orange zest Overall an excellent poor for the price point. I always enjoy sipping on it and will continue to do so.

Nose: some oak, bowl of candy corn and peanuts, cherry sours candy, sour punch straws, marshmallow fluff, fried ice cream Palate: cherry sours more on the palate than the nose, light oak, hint of warhead when it turns sweet, plantain cooked in butter and brown sugar like at a steakhouse Finish: the finish is hotter in terms of ethanol than any other phase, orange zest Overall a good dram. Been looking for one for a while and it did not disappoint. Glad this is theoretically here to stay on shelves.

Bourbon — Indiana (bottled in Tennessee), USA
Reviewed September 10, 2021Nose: marshmallow in a jar (I’ve been informed this is called marshmallow fluff), cookies baking in the oven, vanilla, oak Palate: molasses, brown sugar, pear, cinnamon, ethanol hit but good flavor Finish: long finish with a taste that is similar to after you’ve finish a cherry/red starburst candy. Thanks again to @TravHernandez for a great pour! -
Nose: apple juice, apple jolly rancher, cinnamon, baking spices Palate: toffee, almond, tiramisu, brown sugar, apple blossom, respectable amount of ethanol without it being overpowering. Finish: leather, peanut shells, spearmint flavored snuff, long finish Thank you @TravHernandez for the pour. This one is impressive!

One of the best whiskeys I’ve had in a while. Just so rich and beautiful. Thank you @TravHernandez a taster of this. I’ve been putting off the tasting for weeks now because I didn’t want it to be gone but here we go!!! Nose: amaretto extract, luxardo cherry, vanilla, tobacco. From the beginning, I felt like I did not do this bourbon justice since I was not drinking it in a library with shelves made of rich mahogany containing many leather bound books. Palate: the tobacco is there and it’s beautiful. It reminds me of a pipe tobacco I love called mountain mist. After the pipe tobacco taste you get some almond then a quick ethanol hit. The ethanol is not overpowering. It’s like a quick humble brag that is 105 proof and then it shows off it’s flavor again. This gives way to deep cherry and even cranberry flavors. Finish: long finish that give you some leather and then gives way to dark roast coffee. This bourbon has layers of flavor and it is quite possibly the top 3 of anything I’ve tried.

Delicious pour on vacation. Wish I could find a bottle in the wild. Maybe vacation vibes are temporarily making me soft but I rated it pretty high. Nose: Honey, cherry, caramel Palate: As much fruit as it has on the nose, there isn’t that much on the palate. The caramel and honey flavor come through though which I really like. Some maple syrup as well but it’s more like the rich, Crown brand, bourbon barrel aged maple syrup. Finish: short finish with slight dusty peanut taste

Great MGP juice directly from MGP distillery rather than being used through a different company. I have to give mash and drum credit for leading me to this. A great whiskey that has incredible flavor. Although very different flavors, I would put this right up there with smoke wagon as one of my favorite MGP whiskeys. As a big rye fan, this is a fun whiskey with strong rye but also with plenty of fruity flavors rather than rye dominating throughout the experience. Color: amber Nose: morello cherries, brown sugar, Greek yogurt Palate: starts off sweet with morello cherry, graham cracker, maple syrup and brown sugar. This is followed by rye spice that carried through the finish. Finish: long finish with rye spices predominating, however, some of those sweet, fruity notes such as cherry are present throughout.

A good, middle of the road sipper. I feel like adding an ice cube might actually take away a ton of flavor since it is already somewhat low proof. Still enjoyed this, though. A good Pinkie’s select from Lubbock, TX. Color: amber, light gold Nose: Apple juice, butterscotch, light caramel, banana pudding, fresh zucchini bread Palate: hot apple cider, sweet corn, baking spices, leather on the back end and through the finish. Finish: I’m not going to call this a long finish but it was longer than I thought it would be. The finish was actually my favorite part. This is where I got the most leather which is one of my favorite flavors to get.

A good, standard, everyday drinker. Kind of wild it is in high demand right now. That’s not to say it isn’t good, but it isn’t top shelf either. Appearance: lighter golden color Nose: fresh baked bread, caramel Palate: caramel and vanilla to start that gives way to a taste of dough and warm lager. I’m sure there is a touch of spice there but it was very little. Very little ethanol. Finish: short finish due to lower proof. An easy drinker for sure.

This was a great whiskey. The most surprising thing was the lack of ethanol on the nose. It does get spicy and the ethanol hits when you taste it, though. Appearance: amber/gold Nose: really surprised there is not ethanol even when I got risky and tried to take a big whiff. picking up peanuts and maybe slight brown sugar. Also smells like damp wood. Not an overall impressive nose. Palate: the flavors make up for the lack of nose. You get punched by fresh ground black pepper and ethanol up front that gives way to molasses, brown sugar. Finish: long finish with a bit of dry dusty peanut shell as the burn fades. I mean this in a good way when you have been eating peanuts for 30 min while waiting at Texas Roadhouse and now you’re ready to crush a steak.
