CHAR - 2 , TOAST - Heavy NEAT NOSE - Light Brown Sugar, Honey, and Caramel PALATE - Velvety mouthfeel with sweet, sweet honey FINISH - Short, but very pleasant with no burn or spice BUY AGAIN?? This is good, but for a next bottle I’d like to get either a cask strength or store pick. I’ve seen Cask Strengths with a proof of 110 and I’ve seen a Total Wine Pick at 115 proof. Im sure then, this nice toasted bourbon would be closer to 4, maybe 4+ stars.

NEAT NOSE - Dark Brown Sugar, Maple Syrup, Oak, Barrel Char, Dark Chocolate PALATE - Thick mouthfeel with Rich Brown Sugar Notes with some spice FINISH - Long Hopefully, in 2024 Heaven Hill produces ECBP like this one!

BARREL HOUSE : 2-21 BARREL # : 22-07762 BOTTLING DATE : 9.21.22 NEAT NOSE - Banana, Caramel, Dark Brown Sugar PALATE - Think eating a bannana rolled in brown sugar with caramel drizzled over it. This is an amazing pour with tons of complexity. Im sure my tasting notes are only scratching the surface. FINISH - Long and Pleasant BUY? - Absolutely. One of the best barrel proof bottles for the price and readily available. BUY AGAIN?? Absolutely. This is something to keep stocked as soon as the open bottle gets low. Plus the availability should make it fairly easy.

NEAT NOSE - Very sweet and fruity. I get some syrup on the nose along with some peach and maybe a little bit of pear. PALATE - Sweet. Like a thin syrup with hints if fruit. Predominately peach. FINISH - Medium - Long BUY AGAIN?? Absolutely. This is my favorite BARRELL that I’ve had of the finished series.

NEAT NOSE - Very Sweet. Caramel and Honey PALATE - Honey with hints of Caramel FINISH - Short BUY AGAIN? - Absolutely. At approximately $45-$50, this is a great low proof sipper.

NEAT NOSE - Loads of Brown Sugar and Caramel, Vanilla PALATE - The nose transfers over to the palate effortlessly. FINISH - A sweet, lingering finish. Warm, but not too hot. It goes down pretty smooth with not much burn.

NEAT NOSE - Apples and Cinnamon with some vanilla. “Apple Jacks” or an Apple Cinnamon Nutri-grain Bar PALATE - Apples and Cinnamon FINISH - Doesn’t last long, but very pleasant. OVERALL - I thought people were exagerrating when they said this smelled and tasted like Apple Jacks, but they weren’t lying! I even had my wife smell it and she immediately said it tasted like apples and cinnamon. For the price and proof, this is an excellent value. Speaking of the proof, this honestly goes down like a 90 proof, not 110. Definite buy and something I’d like to keep on the shelf.

NEAT NOSE - Very fruity and sweet PALATE - Smooth, Light, and Sweet FINISH - It lingers around for a brief amount of time.

NEAT NOSE - Caramel, brown sugar PALATE - Toasted, Bannana Nut Bread FINISH - Long, sweet, complex

NEAT NOSE - Fruity, Strawberries, Rosé Wine PALATE - Strawberries, Rosé Wine FINISH - Vanishes very quickly unfortunately. OVERALL - An extremely pleasant sipper that is unique that I’d definitely purchase again.
